Why must the Apple charger be so big?
For a company that prides itself with compact convenience (think: Macbook Air or iPod Nano), the charger is rather huge and...annoying. It's always a hassle finding an empty outlet in study lounges and public places. The charger doesn't exactly like to share outlets with others.
Yes, you can plug it in upside down but I've noticed that only damages the throngs; they're not made to maintain all that weight. The darn thing weighs half a pound! Adapters on other computer chargers are located elsewhere on the cord which welcomes successful outlet searches and easy plugging. Apple, please stop, just for one second, to be different and innovative! Ha. That'll never happen.
An even more annoying plugging hassle is finding space on a power surge. Since the charger is such a space-hogger, other plugs have to be rearranged or unplugged to make space.
I know I sound lazy, but technology is supposed to make life easier not frustrating.
